hello friends,barbara brackman has a new blog Civil War Quilts ,and this is block1, 8" square,she is presenting one block a week,for one year,if i understood it right,and i believe this will be a beautiful quilt att the end. the block is sewn by hand,of course.

i am half way through

i am half way through with my greatgrandmothers handbag quilt,it is 2 meter long and nearly one meter wide and i love to sew this tumblers in english paper piecing.

so jetzt hab ich 9 paar socken fertig gestrickt,gr.44 und 45, macht mir auch sehr viel spaß,aber jetzt muß ich erstmal wieder was nähen! schöne weihnachten euch allen und ein gutes neues jahr,susi
