building houses from scraps 1+2

hello friends,these are my first two little houses build of scraps,the one on the right was the first one i made in english paper piecing ,it is 5"square and i needed one and a half hour to sew it,the second one on the left took me just half an hour because i appliqued the door and the window afterwards,when the block was pieced,have a nice rest of the week,susi

my first finish in 2012: the clamshell quilt is handquilted,it has 902 clamshells sewn by hand and is 2,20x 2,40 m big, i am satisfied with how it looks,have a nice first week of the year 2012 ,susi

hi friends,my clamshell quilt top is finally finished.it measures 2,20x2,40 m,and there were nearly 500 clamshells  to sew by hand.but if you know me, you know i love to sew by hand,so now i have to quilt it,what i really like to do ,too.have a nice rest of the week,susi
