dear friends,i am half way through with the baby blanket.i surrounded every square with a blanket stitch with a black thicker cotton thread (like for crotcheting pottholders),and than i stitched them together with that same black cotton thread. 72 squares left to knit,but it is fun to do this,have a nice week,susi
this will be a baby blanket for my neighbours grandchild to be born in september,i have to knit 12x12,means 144 squares at all.but i wonder about a good method of sewing or hooking them together,does anyone have a good idea,please email me,have a nice week,susi
dear friends,happy fathers day to all the fathers out there,my caswell carpet version is done,i handquiltet around each motiv and big stitch quilted the blocks. and so i searched a bit in the www and found a wonderful idea to use my tons of rests of sockwool .you knit small little bags fill some batting in them knit them together and you will have a wonderful cosy quilt,if you make enough (in the internet they were called hexipuffs and had the shape of hexagones,but i liked squares better), i am gone knitting now...,have a nice wekend,susi
